Lazy Sunday

Yes,

It has already been two weeks since I started LAZY SUNDAY on INTERFM. And not much writing in the way of this blog…sorry folks.

ANYWAY, the program is a lot of fun. I think Radio is a live medium, and I really feel that the ambience that you get when things are on the line and nothing can be redone or rerecorded is where it’s at. Almost like a Grateful Dead gig eh? The records are great, but like they say, “There is nothing like a Grateful Dead concert.”

I have already had two great Lazy Friends come visit me on the show. My very first guest was Yoriko Doguchi. She came on with her band and played us some ukulele music. I knew she was a actor and did play the ukulele, but I did not realize she could play so well. She has also recently released a book chronicling her battle with cancer, which by the way she won.

ああ、インターＦＭでLAZY SUNDAYが始まって2週間、まだこのブログに書くことがそんなにないなあ、ごめんね、みんな。
それはさておき、番組はとっても面白いよ。ラジオは生きてるメディアだと思う。なんかつながってる時に得られる空気がすごい感じられる。それってやり直しや再録がきかない、そうゆうところでしか得られないものなんだよね。
グレイトフル・デッドのギグみたいなもんだよ。彼らのレコードはもちろん素晴らしいけど「グレイトフル・デッドのコンサートは他にはないよ」って皆言うじゃないか。
既に僕のレイジー・フレンドが2人この番組に遊びに来てくれた。一番最初のゲストは洞口依子さん。彼女はバンドと一緒に来てウクレレを披露してくれた。依子さんが女優でウクレレを弾くのは知ってたけど、あんなにウマイとは知らなかったよ。彼女は最近、自らのがんとの戦いの記録を綴った本も出版した－がんに打ち勝ったんだ。
