Here we go

Hello everyone,

Anyway,

Yea, yea, long time no hear……

Well, since I started this blog a lot has happened. One thing that did not happen was this blog. Heheheheheh……I originally expected to get started and writing once a day after the radio show TRANSIT ended on Tokyo FM. You figure that once you quit doing a quadra (is that a word?) nightly radio show that you would have a lot of time to sit back and relax, get some surf, drink a pitcher of Margaritas, a couple glasses of Pina Colada, followed by a Tequila Sunrise and ponder what the new day holds for us. Well, I found out that things just don’t work that way. I am busier now than I have been for a long time, and I thought I was really busy when I had the show. I did take a vacation with the family to Hawaii, but wow, that came and went so fast. Yes, wonderful like a beautiful overhead wave that rolls in on a super flat day.

And I learned something really interesting. I am more of a perfectionist than I even knew. I wanted to start this damn thing but could never get myself to upload all the things I wrote. I figured that I would just reread it and FIX it and THEN upload everything. But by then it is too LATE…

Well folks, blogs just don’t work that way, do they? The Blog is alive and breathing and HUNGRY. If you don’t feed her everyday she goes into suspended animation. And as far as her world is concerned you won’t exist…..So feed her!!!!!! And don’t worry if it doesn’t taste good, or it’s not what you wanted to share with her. She’s hungry and she craves food and she doesn’t care what it is. And here I was planning a nice pleasant evening with her. I wanted to share a Campari soda, a little plate of cheese and some slices of tart Granny Smith apples and raisins, followed by some nice fresh vegetables, maybe a few spears of asparagus, crisp and green. And then I would have asked her if she wanted some cool Chardonay, and maybe half a dozen oysters, Kumamotos from Alsaka, if they had some. And then some pasta with a slightly burning chili pepper taste, and then a little wine change into some full bodied reds, a splendid Cabernet Sauvignon, you know the ones that tastes like you are chewing on a plank of solid oak. And just as the wine was kicking in, out comes the Osso bocco. AND ALL SHE WANTED WAS A BIG MAC……

Blogs, the perfect vehicle for today’s literature. Instant, and folks I am not checking grammer…..

Is this a start ?….hope so.
